“I have a passion for leading an authentic life.   I work intuitively and compassionately”

I grew up in a large extended  family, surrounded by grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles as well as my parents and sister.  Communication was always very important for us, usually around a huge dining table.  I grew up understanding the importance of good listening and talking.  I studied French and Linguistics at University and have always had a passion for language, its sound as well as its meaning.

I am the proud mother of 3 children (Ollie 19, Bea 16 and Dan 11).  Whilst at home I set up a health and nutrition business with an award-winning network marketing company.  As a result, I have 6 years experience of working with people to achieve improved performance both personally and professionally.  I have a particular interest in coaching for health and well being .  I have direct experience of working through such issues as Post Natal Illness, Eating disorders,  and Post Traumatic Stress.

Be Impeccable With Your Word. Speak with integrity.  Say only what you mean.  Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others.  Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

Don’t Take Anything Personally.  Nothing others do is because of you.  What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream.  When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

Don’t Make Assumptions.  Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want.  Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama.  With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
Always Do Your Best.  Your best is going to change from moment to moment, it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick.  Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgement, self-abuse, and regret.

Place:
I grew up on the edge of the Gower Peninsula in South Wales, a beautiful unspoilt part of the world. Each time I return I go for a walk along the coastal path between two bays, Langland and Caswell. I walk there whatever the season, whatever the weather and feel myself being restored. Whatever my state of mind I know that I will return energised and peaceful. There is a particular spot, the highest point on the walk where as you turn the corner the weather hits you. It may be the wind which literally takes your breath away, it may be horizontal rain that drenches you. It may be a welcome gust of wind on a hot summer’s day or it may be stillness where nothing else matters but that moment.
Car:
Two years ago I bought my first car! I treated myself to a Silver Mini Cooper and it was my pride and joy. I loved it for how it made me feel. Everytime I sat in it I felt excited, young at heart and that all was well with the world. It gave me a buzz every single time and when I noticed another one on the road it made me happy to know that I too was driving one! I had to sell it recently because I couldn’t insure my 19 year old. I know that soon I will get another and this time it will be a convertible!
Film:
An Affair to Remember – a very stylish love story with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr. I love this wonderful story of two rather blasé people who meet on board a ship, play all sorts of games denying their obvious attraction and how their falling in love turns their worlds upside down. A story of true love conquering all. A classic from 1957.
Hobby:
I have been doing Pilates weekly 2 years and can’t imagine a week without it. I did Yoga for many years and when my teacher moved away wanted to try something new. Pilates is no easy option fitnesswise! It makes me feel fantastic! I am taller and slimmer and more toned than I have ever been!

Most inspirational book that I have read:
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz
The reason why I became a coach:
Having been on my own journey of discovery and finding that I could be so much more, I wanted to experience the privilege of working with people as they discovered their potential, their passion and their purpose.
My personal secret to happiness is:
Taking the time to be still so that I am able to notice the small things.
My greatest challenge to date:
Working with my daughter through her anorexia.
My 3 word philosophy on life:
Live on Purpose
I couldn't live without:
The sea – sight, sound, smell, taste and sensation.

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek”. Barack Obama
